Introduction and Basic Services

Located in the picturesque Irish town of Killarney near the large lake of Lough Leane, RósGlas Recovery is a boutique facility specializing in the one-on-one treatment of clients struggling with substance abuse disorders. The facility literally treats one client at a time, with an emphasis on healing the root causes of addiction. Clients receive a completely private experience in luxury accommodations. With interpreters for various languages, as well as international therapists available, RósGlas Recovery is a destination recovery facility, with plenty of experience treating clients from all around the world.

Facility and Meals

RósGlas places a premium on comfort and privacy. Unlike most facilities, clients do not share any accommodations and will never meet another client throughout their stay. Upon arrival, clients are chauffeured to secluded luxury accommodations, where they will meet their personal therapist and case manager. All locations are world-class with upscale decor, equipped with a TV and internet, as well as access to a pool, spa and gym. Clients enjoy a vast array of enriching activities including horseback riding, falconry, nature excursions, yachting, music and the arts.

Clients are provided with a professional personal chef that provides delicious and healthy meals.

Treatment Protocol and Team

RósGlas Recovery provides treatment for just one client at a time, assuring complete attention from the entire team as well as the most effective, customized program integrating evidence-based methods and a holistic approach. Lengths of treatment vary depending on the specific needs of the person, though they typically range between two and twelve weeks. Treatment begins with an assessment, with detox provided if necessary at a nearby private hospital.

Clients usually engage in more than six hours of therapy daily, all completely in private locations of the client’s choosing. Biochemical restoration is a key aspect to recovery at RósGlas. To this end, the facility utilizes nutrition and supplements to correct chemical and hormonal imbalances, dramatically improving the client’s overall health. In addition, clients receive regular visits with a psychiatrist, EMDR therapy to alleviate past trauma, spiritual counseling and 12-step.

The team at RósGlas is comprised of a variety of therapists with different specialties, a psychiatrist, psychologist, addiction specialists, mentors and nutrition counselors. In addition, clients are provided with an on-site therapist, case manager, butler, chef, driver and maid.

Bonus Amenities

RósGlas goes above and beyond to protect client’s privacy. Pseudonyms are used rather than real names at the client’s request. The facility also provides plenty of complementary therapies including yoga, meditation, acupuncture, reflexology, massage and beauty treatments.

The historic town of Killarney boasts 19th century architecture including St. Mary’s Cathedral, and Victorian mansions like Muckross House. It is also the start and finishing point of the 200 kilometer long Kerry Way walking trail.

Summary

RósGlas Recovery is a luxury treatment facility that is unique in the world of residential rehabilitation. Clients enjoy absolute privacy, world-class accommodations and a comprehensive treatment program that is completely customized. Perhaps most impressive is that RósGlas only treats one client at a time.
