Treatment Protocol and Team

Treatment at Orchid Recovery Center not only aims to heal clients of the damages of chemical dependency, but also strengthen their minds, bodies and spirits. The admission process begins with a phone interview with a staff member to review the client's history, and from there an in-person assessment at the facility is scheduled. During this stage, an individualized treatment plan is put into place and once an opening is available, clients start the program. Clients in need of a medical detox can receive those services on site before launching into the inpatient portion of treatment.

Programming addresses issues specific to women who have struggled with addiction. The group sessions focus on building trust and a community, and within the 30 to 120 day increments, clients participate in a variety of traditional and holistic methods. Both group and individual sessions include art and music therapy, psychodrama, EMDR, CBT, grief and loss therapy and examining their family systems.

The women are also offered a variety of educational opportunities that examine the role that hormones play in addiction and nutritional counseling. The Orchid Method also introduces vitamin and hormone supplements into the client's treatment which aid in balancing and stabilizing.

The staff of Orchid is all female, which provides an extra layer of trust and understanding between client and therapists. Staff is comprised of a medical director, LADCs, psychiatrists and LPCs.
