In the latest substance-related issue for Johnny Manziel, the NFL star may be hit with a lawsuit after allegedly throwing drug and alcohol-fueled parties at a home he rented.

Page Six reports that the former Cleveland Browns quarterback received a $32,000 bill for damages to the $4.5 million West Hollywood mansion he rented for two days earlier this month. Manziel and his friends reportedly left the house littered with drugs and alcohol. Page Six claims to have photos of the aftermath that show a table covered in powder that appears to be cocaine, as well as an open bag of what appears to be magic mushrooms. He and his guests also allegedly broke an expensive glass table and a bathroom door, and left wine stains and cigarette burns on the carpets.

A lawyer for real estate broker Nicholas Goodwin, who rented Manziel the property through his company LA Exotic Life, wrote to the football star’s lawyers that the parties caused "extensive damage" to the house and “caused a disturbance to the neighborhood.” The LAPD were reportedly called to the house on April 6 after several neighbors, including comedian Kathy Griffin, complained about the noise.

"They were supposed to check out at noon. Manziel was passed out ... There was cocaine all over the kitchen table, and mushrooms were still out on the table in front of him," Goodwin told Page Six. "There was booze everywhere ... broken glasses over the floor and a champagne glass in a tree." He warned: "If they don’t respond to our demand for compensation, we will sue.”

The 23-year-old has endured a string of bad press in the last few years. His ongoing issues with injuries and partying led to him being dropped last month by the Cleveland Browns, while his agent Drew Rosenhaus also ended their relationship in “hopes of helping him get the treatment I believe he needs.” And according to CNN, the Dallas Police Department announced in February that it was investigating a claim of domestic violence involving Manziel's ex-girlfriend, Colleen Crowley.

Manziel checked into rehab in February of last year for drug and alcohol problems, but apparently it didn't do much to change his behavior. Browns coach Mike Pettine, who has since been replaced by Hue Jackson, demoted him to third string last November after videos of him partying surfaced on the Internet. The final straw was when Manziel missed the final game of the 2015 season with a concussion, yet was spotted partying the night before at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, according to USA Today
