Is Jeb! Bush high? This is the question on everyone’s minds, or at least on the mind of Donald Trump.

In an attack ad released yesterday, the Republican presidential front-runner accused the former Florida governor of still smoking pot after Bush admitted to using it decades ago.

"Forty years ago, I smoked marijuana and I admit it," said Bush at the second Republican debate. "I’m sure that other people might have done it and may not want to say it in front of 25 million people. My mom’s not happy that I just did." Bush was responding to Sen. Rand Paul accusing him of hypocrisy in advocating for stricter anti-pot laws.

Trump, who routinely attacks Bush on social media, released the ad on Instagram along with a caption that says Bush has "been confused for 40 years. Are we sure it was only 40 years ago?" says the ad after highlighting Bush’s stance on various issues, like the Iraq war and immigration.

Bush’s camp quickly shot back. "This coming from the candidate who can't remember the names of our biggest enemies around the world,” said Bush spokesperson Allie Brandenburger in a statement. “Seems these attacks are running out of steam.”

During the debate last week, Paul, Bush, and former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina weighed in on issues like mandatory-minimum drug-sentencing laws and legalization of marijuana. As far as his own stance on these issues, Trump has remained silent.
