Amanda Bynes is sober and ready to take back the small screen.
Last week, the What I Like About You actress did her first on-camera interview in four years, opening up to blogger Diana Madison.

“I’m doing great, really great,” the fair-haired star gushed, offering info about her newfound love of spinning, hiking and helping the homeless. The 31-year-old former sitcom star has also been hitting the stacks as a student at The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles.
“I’ve been going to school lately, fashion school, FIDM, and I love it,” she said. “I’ve learned how to sew, I make patterns, and I want to start a clothing line in the future so FIDM has been helping me with that.”
Although her last role on the silver screen was back in 2010 when she played in Easy A with Emma Stone, the starlet says she’s planning a return to the small screen.
“I do miss acting, and I actually have something surprising to tell you—I’m going to start acting again,” she said. “I want to do TV. Maybe a few guest spots on some shows that I’m a fan of, and maybe another TV show where I’m the star of it in the future. That’s what I hope.”
Bynes took a lengthy hiatus from Hollywood after a few tough years punctuated by drug use, mental health problems, and a slew of legal tangles—including two hit-and-run and two DUI charges. But now she’s almost three years sober, according to reports.
Though she didn’t talk much about her foray into sobriety, Bynes did shed some light on one of her most hyped public declarations during her drugging years: that time she asked rapper Drake to murder her vagina.

“I actually wasn’t being insincere,” she told Madison. “I was serious, but I was also on drugs. So that was my way of saying, ‘Let’s do it, man.’ But I was on drugs and trying to be hilarious.”
Madison concurred with her guest regarding the rapper’s hotness...but offered up one specific question about the logistics of vajayjay-slaying: “What’s it’s like to get your vagina murdered?”
“It just means, like, ‘Fuck me, Drake,’” Bynes said with a giggle.
