ComPsych Drug Rehab

Alcohol and drug addiction costs Americans more than $400 billion each year in crime, lost work opportunities and health care expenses.

Those numbers from the National Institute on Drug Abuse are certainly staggering. Yet lost money and productivity don’t even begin to convey the true cost of drug addiction. Without effective treatment, you can lose everything: your home, your job, your family — even your life.

Help from friends, family and qualified professionals will enhance your prospects for recovery. That’s why it’s vitally important to seek help immediately.

One of the first steps to take when seeking help is a review of your insurance coverage. Armed with this information, you can then choose the appropriate treatment path.

What Kind of Treatments are Available?

ComPsych is the world’s largest provider of employee assistance plans. This means they offer a comprehensive list of services for drug addiction, including stays at a ComPsych drug rehab treatment center. Other common treatments include:

  • Medically supervised detox
  • Outpatient therapy
  • Group therapy
  • Individual counseling
  • Aftercare

The decision as to which approach works best in your case will be made with input from you, your medical professional and your insurer. ComPsych offers free and confidential counseling sessions to help determine the treatment best suited for you.

It should be noted, however, that ComPsych does not typically pay for stays in residential rehab or luxury rehab facilities.

How Much Will it Cost?

This depends on several factors, including your type of treatment. Generally speaking, the company will pay for 80-percent of your stay in a ComPsych drug rehab treatment center if you use in-network services. Services that are out-of-network are only covered at 60-percent.

The length of your stay is determined by a variety of factors, but ComPsych will generally cover any treatment deemed medically necessary. Should you wish to pursue treatment that’s not covered by ComPsych, you may always choose to self pay. Deductibles and co-pays may also apply.
