Tallulah Belle Willis, the youngest daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, is the third Willis sister to celebrate a sober anniversary in recent weeks.

Saturday (July 8) marked three years of sobriety for the 23-year-old visual artist. She posted an old photo of herself to show her transformation. “3 years ago I was a malnourished string bean with aches that echoed throughout my soul,” she wrote in the caption.

“I did not value myself, my life or my body and as such I was constantly punishing for not being enough. Self annihilation fueled with medicating left me a shell, and the world on mute,” she wrote. “I love the girl in this picture, I cry for her and I mourn her lost years…I don’t push any agenda, I can only speak for my path and staying sober has been far and beyond the most important thing I’ve done in my wee 23 years.”

Tallulah has been the most vocal about her decision to stay sober, keeping everyone in the loop by sharing her recovery milestones on social media. In 2015 she rung in her one-year anniversary with a sober birthday party, complete with a cake.

She also shared her personal struggles that arose from having two famous parents in the public eye. She's spent some time in treatment for her issues relating to body dysmorphia, eating disorders, and depression.

She recalled reading strangers’ comments on a photo of her posted online: “I thought, I am a hideous, disgusting-looking person. I might be nice and I might be kind, but I’m a really unattractive human being. It wasn’t about the anonymous cyberbullies—I became my own worst critic.”

The Willis sisters seem to have learned a thing or two from one another’s recovery journeys.

Rumer Willis, 28, celebrated six months of sobriety on June 30 with her own Instagram post. “I will be the first to say I’m not perfect and I mess up sometimes and every once in a while I get it right but I wanted to share this because I am really proud of myself,” the Empire actress and Dancing with the Stars winner wrote in the caption. “Be gentle with yourself.”

On June 17, Scout Willis, 25, celebrated one year sober—“one year of being fully present with [myself], no filters, no chemical relaxation, no short cuts. I am meeting the best version of myself every day.”
