Meditations from the writings of Marcus Aurelius #2

By keithb 05/22/18

Our Tenth step asks us to pray for Gods will for us and then meditate on what is Gods will.
Gods will for each of us is different.
Marcus Aurelius had a way to put aside the things of man and focus on what God had in store for us.

Don’t waste the rest of your time here on earth worrying about
other people. It will keep you from doing anything useful.
You’ll be too preoccupied with what so-and-so is doing, and why and
what they’re saying and what they’re thinking.
Or what they’re up to and all the other things that throw you off and
keep you from focusing on your true purpose.
