A Florida couple and their "John" are now facing significant jail time after their abusive behavior turned a teenage girl into a “drug-addicted prostitute.”

Michael Graves, Cynthia Graves, and Robert Richards were arrested this week in connection with prostituting a then-15-year-old girl. The investigation began last June after anonymous sources reported hearing 60-year-old Richards asking for a young girl. He allegedly offered $100 for an introduction to Cynthia in order to gain access to one, although it’s unclear how she met the victim.

Richards would pay Cynthia at least $60 for each sexual act, which usually took place either at their home or the restaurant owned by Michael called, Fresh Off the Hook. Cynthia would also occasionally drive Richards and the girl around while the sex acts took place.

Cynthia also reportedly taught the girl how to inject drugs. A statement from the Volusia County Police Department claims she had track marks all over her hands when she was interviewed by police, during which she was “groggy and [not] completely coherent.”

Richards is being charged with two counts of lewd or lascivious battery, while Cynthia has been charged with procuring a minor for prostitution and profiting from the proceeds. Michael’s restaurant has also since been closed.
