A British TV chef has been caught compulsively shoplifting from a supermarket—and says he will seek treatment for his problem. Antony Worrall Thompson, 60, is famous in the UK for appearances on shows like Ready Steady Cook and I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! But he was suspected by staff at a Tesco store in Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire of shoplifting five times over a 16-day period; he was using a self-service checkout area without scanning all of his purchases. A hidden camera set up to monitor his activities caught "Wozza," as the tabloids call him, stealing cheeses and bottles of wine. He was arrested in front of other shoppers, and issued with a formal caution by the police. Worrall Thompson, whose chain of high-end restaurants hit financial problems in 2009, issued a statement on his official website today: "I am so sorry for all my recent stupid and irresponsible actions; I am of course devastated for my family and friends, whom I've let down and will seek the treatment that is clearly needed. I am not the first, and I certainly won't be the last person to do something without rhyme or reason...hopefully in the future I can make amends."
