Playmate Cassandra Lynn Hensley Found Dead
An overdose is suspected after police found Miss February 2006 floating in a friend's bathtub.
According to TMZ, former Playboy centerfold Cassandra Lynn Hensley was found dead inside a friend’s Los Angeles home. She was 34. Paramedics were called after a friend found the centerfold floating in the bathtub but they were unable to revive her. Law enforcement on the scene were investigating Hensley's death as a potential overdose.
Born and raised in the Salt Lake valley of Utah, Hensley started modeling while studying to become an aesthetician and placed in the Top 20 in a Hawaiian Tropic contest. That led to a tryout for Playboy and subsequently becoming Miss February 2006, which she called “a dream come true.”
After being a Playmate, Hensley bounced around from one modeling gig to another while making appearances on Lingerie Football, Last Comic Standing, and The Apprentice. She was active on Twitter and rather cryptically tweeted her horoscope just hours before she was reported dead. “Unspoken obligations prevent you from doing what you wish today, but your guilt may drive your inaction more than any real responsibilities,” said the horoscope in part. “No matter what you do now, you might not feel completely fulfilled.”
Police have so far ruled out foul play.
