Pacino's Daughter Feels Heat
Julie Pacino admits drinking and smoking pot before driving in Manhattan.
Julie Pacino—the elder daughter of 71-year-old Al Pacino—was busted early Saturday morning for driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol. The 21-year-old aspiring film director and producer was nabbed at a routine checkpoint around 1:30am on West Houston Street in lower Manhattan. When asked by authorities if she had been drinking, she replied, "I had about three beers and I smoked weed at home . . . a few hours ago.” Her honesty led to her shipment to the Lower East Side 7th Precinct where she failed a breathalyzer test, exceeding the New York state limit of 0.08. Consequently, she was charged with driving while impaired by drugs and alcohol. She is currently being held at the Manhattan Detention Complex pending arraignment. Julie Pacino is a graduate of UCLA, where she is said to have been a standout softball player. She produced her first full length film, “Billy Bates,” earlier this year.
