Street names of the drug include: Oxy, O.C.'s, Roxies, Percs, 80s/greens, 40s/yellows, 20s/pinks or Hillbilly Heroin. Hydromorphone is a semi-synthetic opioid analgesic (a painkiller) that is thought to be six to eight times stronger than morphine. It is derived from morphine and is known under the brand names: Palladone, Hydromorph Contin, Hydrostat, Exalgo, Dilaudid-HP and Dilaudid. Dilaudid's generic brand name is hydromorphone, though it is more commonly referred to as Dilaudid and rarely by its generic name. MORE

Methadone is a synthetic opioid analgesic used to treat moderate to severe pain. It  is best known, however, for preventing withdrawal symptoms in patients with opiate addictions, particularly heroin. Chemically, it is a 50:50 mixture of two enantiomers which are (R-) or levo- or l-methadone and (S-) or dextro or d-methadone. Known brand names of methadone include: Dolphine, Methadose, Westadone and Methadose Oral Concentrate, Symoron, and Metadol.
