The Fix Hosts David Sheff

Fix readers and staff gathered with addiction experts and advocates for a memorable event with author David Sheff in Newport Beach.

  • Last Thursday, The Fix hosted Beautiful Boy and Clean author David Sheff at the Lido Theatre in Newport Beach, for a talk by Sheff, a conversation with Recovery Media LLC Chairman Paul McCulley and a book-signing.

  • Hundreds of Fix readers, people in recovery and addiction treatment-industry professionals arrived at the Lido Theater in Newport Beach.

  • The event also included a showing of a new theatrical trailer for the forthcoming Greg Williams documentary The Anonymous People.

  • At an earlier VIP event, Fix Editor-in-Chief Will Godfrey interviewed Sheff for a feature story published today.
