Veteran train wreck Charlie Sheen says troubled actress Lindsay Lohan could benefit from his mentorship. "I have a kinship with somebody [Lindsay] who clearly needs a mentor, whether she wants one or not," says the actor and former warlock. "She can continue to hang out with her dress shredding club buddies, or turn to me for some advice from a guy who's been down the road as well as every other side trail on the journey." The former Two and a Half Men star insists Lohan could "win," if she listens to his advice—but "if she doesn't, that's on her." Sheen befriended Lohan after working with her on Scary Movie 5, and she later appeared on his series, Anger Management. The 47-year-old actor allegedly bailed Lohan, 26, out of tax debt last year by writing her a $100,000 check. But the actress' troubles are not behind her. She is currently facing criminal charges, and possible jail time, for allegedly lying to the Santa Monica police in 2012, and blaming a car accident on her assistant. But while Sheen is eager to help steer Lohan towards higher ground, he insists his intentions are pure. “I love her, I respect her, and I've never laid a finger on her that wasn't on film," he says. "How ya like me now, America?"

"I think admitting to having a problem in general is the right first step, but to admit powerlessness is unhealthy. .. I think admitting powerlessness is more harmful because it doesn't help. Admitting that you want and need help is more useful after admittance."
