Martin and Charlie. Ryan and Redmond. John and McKenzie. Drew and…the rest of the family. The troubled children of troubled, addicted, and famous parents is a neverending list. Are Bobby Brown and daughter Bobbi Kristina recent additions to the roster? Former pop star Bobby Brown says that it wasn’t until he watched Being Bobby Brown, his own reality show, that he finally realized the shocking truth about his druggy behavior. The sometimes-husband of singer Whitney Houston—who has had her own well-publicized problems with drugs—has been more famous lately for not paying child support than for performing. He told People magazine: “When I used to get high, I wasn’t there for my older kids. I always had a drink in my hand or disappeared.” Brown addressed the subject of recent tabloid photos alleging that his 17-year old daughter Bobbi Kristina is "hooked on cocaine and booze." While the daughter claims it’s a setup, Bobby had this to say, as quoted in the Boston Herald: “She was hanging around some bad people and isn’t around them now,” he said. “I trust my baby.” But according to the account, a source close to Bobby said he was “devastated” by the situation. “He and Whitney both love Bobbi, but she’s been living like an adult for years,” the source said. “She does what she wants.”
